In Australia ISKA operates as the International Sports Karate Association Australia Incorporate. We are Incorporated in NSW and Registered as and Australian Body (re-established in 2015 via dissolving all existing entities representing ISKA). Australian Martial Arts Championships

WMAC was founded in 2007 in Australia by Peter Mylonas, Kancho of Kempo Ryu International Karate Organisation.

 

The Australian arm of WMAC (AMAC – the Australian Martial Arts Championships) had already been established in 1995, and had been a popular and successful annual event.


Initially, AMAC was the National Championships for Kempo Ryu, based in Sydney, Australia. This event was attended by all styles of Martial Arts and was one of Australia’s fastest growing events in Australia.

The NAS Judges, will strive to always uphold the highest standard of integrity, honesty and  independence in all matters connected to the NAS tournaments.  Amongst other things they shall conscientiously study the NAS rules in order to fully understand and correctly interpret them in the most professional manner.  At all times when officiating for the NAS, they will be independent, impartial, objective and fare; on and off the playing field.

Australian Federation Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

The Australian Federation of Brasilian Jiu Jitsu was founded to officially represent the sport of Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu in Australia. Its main goals are to popularize, organize and regulate the sport in Australia to international standards. This work is similar to what the Confederacao Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Confederation) has done in Brazil, where the sport is highly popular and follows established guidelines.


Working in accordance with the IBJJF guidelines, the Australian Federation of Brasilian Jiu Jitsu follows the rules and regulations as standard followed by Jiu-Jitsu practitioners all over the world.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Australasia

John Will heads up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Australasia and has one special 'Gathering' per year where BJJ practitioners meet up compete and share knowledge with a tournament and seminars.


In the 80’s he founded Blitz, Australia’s Leading Martial Arts Magazine, which has since grown to dominate the marketplace here in Australasia.


The 1st Australian to be awarded his Black Belt in that art, he founded BJJ Australia, the largest single BJJ organization outside of Brazil.
